Makeup and Hair DONE! Love my new FHI Heat Styling Tools!!!

Makeup:
I used Makeup For Ever HD Foundation, and the MAC Prolongwear Concealer under her eyes. I lined the eyes with a brown eyeliner to define without being too harsh. I applied black mascara, and used peachy tones on the eyes to make the blue in her eyes POP

Hair:
I used my brand new FHI Heat Styling Tools! I am in LOVE. I first sprayed Sebastian Shine Define on each section before curling. This will help the curl hold, and give it an amazing shine. The FHI Heat tools left the hair really smooth, and conditioned the hair, giving it a nice healthy shine. I then brushed the hair out with a Paul Mitchell paddle brush, and then with a boar bristle brush to eliminate any fly-aways and frizz.

Behind the Scenes-Photoshoot

Just wanted to share another Makeup look that I did at a photoshoot
I used MAC eyeshadows to create this look. I started with an eyeshadow primer, then used black eyeshadow on the eyelid. I then used Sketch (a deep plum) eyeshadow in the crease and blended it outward to create a winged eye. I used Freshwater (shimmery blue) eyeshadow underneath the eye, which i blended over black eyeshadow. Then used Woodwinked (gold) eyeshadow in the inner corners of the eyes. And of course, i finished the look off with 2 coats of black mascara, make sure the first coat is dry before applying the second coat. Prevents clumping!
On her lips, she has on Cultured MAC lipglass

60′s Inspired Look- Makeup For Ever, Flash Color Palette!!

For this 60′s inspired look, I used the Makeup For Ever Flash Color Palette. It is a Cream Palette. I first applied a brown neutral eyeshadow in the crease of the eye for the contour, then I applied the yellow cream color onto the eyelid. For the eyeliner, i used the Loreal HIP gel eyeliner in black.
Only problem is, this look doesnt last long!!! so make sure she doesn’t open her eyes all the way, and make sure the photographer is ready to take pictures as soon as youre done

I started with the Makeup Forever HD Foundation, and used the MAC Prolongwear concealer under her eyes. I then set the foundation and concealer with the Makeup Forever HD Powder. I used a peach blush on her cheeks.
On her eyes, I used neutral brown tones around her eyes, dark brown eyeliner, and applied small false eyelashes. I slightly filled her eyebrows in with Lingering pencil by MAC.
On her lips I used MAC Spice lipliner, and blended it with Nymphette lipgloss.

To achieve these soft curls, I sectioned the hair off and sprayed it with Sebastian’s Shine Define hairspray. Then I wrapped the hair around a 1 inch iron. In order for the curls to set and stay longer, I pinned them up until they cooled off. After you let the curls down , gently comb them out with a pick

This was one of my beautiful clients that I beautified the other day. I posted it on Facebook and Twitter, and decided that I should blog about the products I used. Glad you guys loved the look!!!

Foundation: Black Opal Stick Foundation in Hazelnut, and I set the foundation with Ben Nye Loose Powder in Banana Visage. Dont forget to first apply a good moisturizer and primer. I used the Smashbox Primer.
Concealer: MAC NC 45 and NC 50 Prolongwear Concealer, used under the eyes
Blush: LaFemme Cosmetics. I dont remember the name of it, but it is the bright magenta blush with the gold shimmer in it.
Eyes: I used a purple shimmer eyeshadow on the eyelid, and blended a deeper plum color in the corner and crease. I lined the top of the eye with MAC engraved pencil, and applied false eyelashes. I used the same engraved pencil in the waterline (inner rim), and then went on top with the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on pencil in Ransom (which is the purple eyeliner) I also smudge the deep plum eyeshadow under the eye as a drop shadow.
Lips: MAC lipliners in Hover, and Spice. And i used a soft pink/mauve lipstick.
Eyebrows: I used MAC pencil in Spiked to create the arch, and then went over it with MAC espresso eyeshadow to soften the brows. You never want the brows to be too dark, they should always be slightly lighter than your hair. It softens the face and makes them more feminine.

So there you go, hope this helps.
Dont be afraid of color. Its only makeup, its comes off

Colorful Eyes- Now is NOT the time to be scared of color!! Try a bright wash of color on your eyelids, some winged eyeliner, and lots of mascara. This season, you can also add a bright, bold lip with those eyes!

Faded Smokey Eyes- This seasons Smokey eye is tamed and faded. Try using darker colors (avoiding black) and smudge the shadow for a more faded look. Leave the mascara and eyeliner alone to help achieve this look! Blending is key to get the faded smokey eye.

Natural, Dewey Makeup- This look will never go out of style! Perfect your complexion with a light foundation, spot concealer where needed, and add bronzer for a sunkissed glow.

Bold Lips- Anything from red, hot pink to orange and coral red will attract maximum attention. Try a bold lip with a wash of bright color on the eyes, or you can just go for big, full black lashes. To prevent bleeding lipstick, prime your lips with a bit of foundation, lip-colored lip liner or complimentary shades to your lipstick.
