Spring/Summer 2012 Beauty Trends:
Bold Lips, Metallic Eyes, Bold Colors on Eyes, Dewey/ Glowing Skin, Coral Tones

I started with the Makeup Forever HD Foundation, and used the MAC Prolongwear concealer under her eyes. I then set the foundation and concealer with the Makeup Forever HD Powder. I used a peach blush on her cheeks.
On her eyes, I used neutral brown tones around her eyes, dark brown eyeliner, and applied small false eyelashes. I slightly filled her eyebrows in with Lingering pencil by MAC.
On her lips I used MAC Spice lipliner, and blended it with Nymphette lipgloss.

To achieve these soft curls, I sectioned the hair off and sprayed it with Sebastian’s Shine Define hairspray. Then I wrapped the hair around a 1 inch iron. Makuep and Hair by Daniel Chinchilla

I had the pleasure of doing Makeup and Hair for the cover of LA Pinoy Magazine! It was a blast and everyone was so fun to work with.

I know its summer time and there will be alot of events to attend!! Weddings, Birthdays, etc. So why not look flawless all day? Right?

Well, we were on set shooting for LA Pinoy Magazine for about 9 hours. So just like any photoshoot, or event I do makeup for, I had to make sure that the makeup stayed flawless All Day. One thing that I used that is extremely important is a Foundation Primer. You must use a primer if you want your makeup to last all day. There are Silicone based primers, (which sometimes arent so good for your skin because they can clog your pores) and there are also some water based primers. One of my personal favorites is the Laura Mercier Primer. You just have to find the one that is best for your skin type. After the primer, I used the Daniel Chinchilla Cosmetics Cream Foundation. I then set it with the Daniel Chinchilla Cosmetics Dual Powder. So regardless of what you’re doing, these 3 products will ensure that your makeup will remain fresh and flawless!

Olivia loves Daniel Chinchilla Cosmetics

So, i had the pleasure of working with Olivia Jones from the E! Show “Candy Girls”. She’s such a sweet and fun person, and we couldn’t stop laughing and having a good time! You can visit Olivia on her website: www.oliviajonesonline.com

I, of course, had to share with everyone what I did to make her even more flawless than she already was.

First off, I made sure to moisturize her skin and get it nice and hydrated. I followed with the Daniel Chinchilla Cosmetics Cream Foundation in C7. I made sure to apply the foundation to the center of the face, and blend outward. This ensures that you only using the neccessary amount of product. I then followed with the Daniel Chinchilla Cosmetics Dual Powder in C6. I applied the powder with a powder brushes, pressing it onto the skin so that it would set the foundation. Pressing the powder onto the skin also makes the foundation wear longer. I then followed with the Daniel Chinchilla Cosmetics Bronzer in Golden Goddess. I swiped it around her face (temples, cheeks, chin, nose) and used it to contour her beautiful cheekbones. I used Nars Blush in Orgasm on her cheeks to add some extra color. (www.narscosmetics.com) My last and final product to Smooth, Flawless Foundation is the MAC Cosmetics Fix+. Fix + is a moisture spray that adds radiance and finishes makeup. (www.maccosmetics.com)

I used Bronzy tones on her eyes, and of course added false eyelashes. On her lips I used one of my favorite lipglosses ever, Victoria Secrets Beauty Rush Lipgloss in Fineapple. (www.victoriasecret.com)

*Youthful skin – (shouldn’t this always be in style!) Give yourself full coverage of your foundation especially under the eyes so that your skin looks even toned and radiant. No more heavy powder ladies. Looking over done is never in style.
*Daniel recommends: Daniel Chinchilla Cosmetics Flawless Face Foundation. This will give you a dewey, light to medium finish. And hide those blemishes with his Cover-up Trio!

*Smudgy and soft smokey eyes – Avoid the eyeliner because this gives you the sexy eyes you’ve always dreamed of! What’s new and exciting is that we have moved away from only grey/black smudging to using colors like blues, purples and even golds!
*Daniel recommends: Nars Demon Lover Duo Eyeshadow (purple/blue) and Caravaggio Duo Eyeshadow (pink/blue) both great for smudging perfection!

*Nude lips – Put away that old lip gloss and get a sexy new nude pout! What’s great about this trend is that it marries very nicely into your smudgy eye look. Daniel will always tell you, darker eyes, lighter lips or lighter eyes, darker lips. Make sure to go Matte. Glossy is out!
*Daniel recommends: Nars Barbarella (nude) for lighter skin tones and Catfight (pinky mauve) for darker skin tones

*Pinky peachy cheeky – Pastels were hot all over the runways, and they have infused the makeup world too! Give your apples a pastel pink or peach blush. This will perfectly top off your new youthful looking skin.
*Daniel recommends: Nars Orgasm for lighter skin tones and Desire for darker skin tones.
