Makuep and Hair by Daniel Chinchilla

I had the pleasure of doing Makeup and Hair for the cover of LA Pinoy Magazine! It was a blast and everyone was so fun to work with.

I know its summer time and there will be alot of events to attend!! Weddings, Birthdays, etc. So why not look flawless all day? Right?

Well, we were on set shooting for LA Pinoy Magazine for about 9 hours. So just like any photoshoot, or event I do makeup for, I had to make sure that the makeup stayed flawless All Day. One thing that I used that is extremely important is a Foundation Primer. You must use a primer if you want your makeup to last all day. There are Silicone based primers, (which sometimes arent so good for your skin because they can clog your pores) and there are also some water based primers. One of my personal favorites is the Laura Mercier Primer. You just have to find the one that is best for your skin type.  After the primer, I used the Daniel Chinchilla Cosmetics Cream Foundation. I then set it with the Daniel Chinchilla Cosmetics Dual Powder. So regardless of what you’re doing,  these 3 products will ensure that your makeup will remain fresh and flawless!

I, of course, had to share with everyone what I did to make her even more flawless than she already was.

First off, I made sure to moisturize her skin and get it nice and hydrated. I followed with the Daniel Chinchilla Cosmetics Cream Foundation in C7. I made sure to apply the foundation to the center of the face, and blend outward. This ensures that you only using the neccessary amount of product. I then followed with the Daniel Chinchilla Cosmetics Dual Powder in C6. I applied the powder with a powder brushes, pressing it onto the skin so that it would set the foundation. Pressing the powder onto the skin also makes the foundation wear longer. I then followed with the Daniel Chinchilla Cosmetics Bronzer in Golden Goddess. I swiped it around her face (temples, cheeks, chin, nose) and used it to contour her beautiful cheekbones.  I used Nars Blush in Orgasm on her cheeks to add some extra color. (www.narscosmetics.com)  My last and final product to Smooth,  Flawless Foundation is the MAC Cosmetics Fix+. Fix + is a moisture spray that adds radiance and finishes makeup. (www.maccosmetics.com)

I used Bronzy tones on her eyes, and of course added false eyelashes. On her lips I used one of my favorite lipglosses ever, Victoria Secrets Beauty Rush Lipgloss in Fineapple. (www.victoriasecret.com)
