They attended the Vanity Fair/Martin Scorsese Oscar Party, and the Fifth Annual Women in Film Pre-Oscar Cocktail Party.
I went with a Bronzed Glowy Makeup look. Used Too Faced Cosmetics on the Eyes, Makeup For Ever HD Foundation, and a MAC highlight on the cheekbones. I curled her hair with a big curling iron, pinned them up so the curl would set, then brushed the curls in place. I finished the look off with the Sebastian Re-shaper Hairspray.

I used MAC eyeshadows to create this look. I started with an eyeshadow primer, then used black eyeshadow on the eyelid. I then used Sketch (a deep plum) eyeshadow in the crease and blended it outward to create a winged eye. I used Freshwater (shimmery blue) eyeshadow underneath the eye, which i blended over black eyeshadow. Then used Woodwinked (gold) eyeshadow in the inner corners of the eyes. And of course, i finished the look off with 2 coats of black mascara, make sure the first coat is dry before applying the second coat. Prevents clumping!
On her lips, she has on Cultured MAC lipglass

We went from a very elegant red lip/bronzy eye, to a very sexy smokey eye with nude lips. For hair, we decided on nice soft waves for the first look, then went for big sexy hair. Alot of women feel that they put their makeup on in the morning, and it is completely gone in a couple of hours. Well, most of the time it isn’t because of what type of makeup you are using. It is usually because of you not applying your makeup correctly in order for it to last. Here are a couple of Tips for you!!

-Priming- Use a makeup Primer will not only make your makeup look a lot smoother, but it will also make your foundation stay on all day. Foundation usually disappears because it goes into your pores throughout the day. Using a good makeup Primer will prevent this. Priming also prevents your foundations from going into your fine lines, which will give you a more youthful look. I recommend: Makeup Forever HD Primer $32.00

-Placing your product where you want it- One of the most common mistakes I see in makeup application, is using brushes to “Brush” your makeup on. What you really end up doing is wiping your makeup off. Instead, I recommend “placing” the product where you want it to stay. I always “pat” on the makeup. By doing so, the makeup stays where you put it.

-Setting your foundation- Use a translucent loose powder to set your foundation. Setting your foundation will solidify the foundation, and help it stay on longer. If your skin is more on the dry side, use a powder brush, and use a sponge or a puff if you are more normal/oily. I recommend: Makeup Forever HD Powder $15.00 or Laura Mercier Translucent Powder
