Terri Seymour for the A-Team Movie Premiere, Hollywood
June 20, 2010
I had the pleasure of getting Terri Seymour ready for the A-Team Movie Premiere in Hollywood. She was so nice, and had a blast working with her.
I did a very natural Summer look on her. With Dewey Skin, and neutral colors on her eyes and lips. I started her skin off with Daniel Chinchilla Beauty Perfecting Mineral Fluid, and used Concealer over certain areas to highlight and even out the skin.

My Tips on how to make your Makeup last ALL DAY!!
May 31, 2010
I have been getting many messages about you wanting to know how to make your Makeup last all day. Alot of women feel that they put their makeup on in the morning, and it is completely gone in a couple of hours. Well, most of the time it isn’t because of what type of makeup you are using. It is usually because of you not applying your makeup correctly in order for it to last. Here are a couple of Tips for you!!
-Priming- Use a makeup Primer will not only make your makeup look a lot smoother, but it will also make your foundation stay on all day. Foundation usually disappears because it goes into your pores throughout the day. Using a good makeup Primer will prevent this. Priming also prevents your foundations from going into your fine lines, which will give you a more youthful look. I recommend: Makeup Forever HD Primer $32.00
-Placing your product where you want it- One of the most common mistakes I see in makeup application, is using brushes to “Brush” your makeup on. What you really end up doing is wiping your makeup off. Instead, I recommend “placing” the product where you want it to stay. I always “pat” on the makeup. By doing so, the makeup stays where you put it.
-Setting your foundation- Use a translucent loose powder to set your foundation. Setting your foundation will solidify the foundation, and help it stay on longer. If your skin is more on the dry side, use a powder brush, and use a sponge or a puff if you are more normal/oily. I recommend: Makeup Forever HD Powder $15.00 or Laura Mercier Translucent Powder
Hope this helps!!!
Introducing…My Top 3 Foundation Primers!!
May 6, 2010
It is extremely important for you to always use a foundation Primer under your foundation. Foundation will look smoother, and also last longer on your face. It will also help with creasing and to smoothen any fine lines. Simply use a little bit over your moisturizer, wait a minute, and apply your foundation. Here are my Favorite Primers. Checkout the one I chose for your skin type:
Oily Skin- Skinn Orchid Gel Mattefying Primer
This is great for Oily Skin or for someone who loves for their skin to be more matte. Even though its purple, it goes on clear!
Combination Skin- Smashbox Photo Finish Primer
I love the silky feel of this primer! It is great for combination skin types because it reduces shine and helps foundation look amazing
Dry/Aging/Sensitive- Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch
This product is great for dry skin types! Its creamy formula moisturizes the skin, and will even keep your makeup out of your fine lines and pores. Keeps your makeup in place as well!

Here are the Top 6 Beauty Trends From Fashion Week!!! Dont be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and try something new and Bold for Spring and Summer!!
Peach Lips- For this look, try Bobbi Brown Cabo Coral lipstick, or Smashbox Heartbreaker Lipshine in Melon Drama
Bold Undereye Eyeliner- For this look, try a bright blue eyeshadow such as Nars in Tropic
The “No Makeup” Look- For this look, use soft neutral colors on your face. Soft Peachy or Bronzy tones always look great! And for natural dewey skin try Daniel Chinchilla Beauty Perfecting Mineral Fluid!!
Goddess Hair- Yes! Krimped hair is back in! You can also use a curling iron to achieve very wavy hair. Try styling your hair first and then using Big Sexy Hair Hairspray to set it. That way your hair doesn’t look hard.
Purple Lips- You can go for extreme purple lips, or something more natural like the picture below. For a very bold Purple lip, try MAC lipstick in Up the Amp. Or for a more natural purple (and much cheaper price) try NYX Lipstick in Iced Lavender.
Bold Eyeliner- DO NOT be afraid of color! Go for it! My favorites are the Makeup Forever Aqua eyes eyeliners. They come in many bold colors! And they stay on VERY well! Even through swimming!!

How To Achieve my FAVORITE Oscar Makeup Looks!
March 9, 2010
Here are my FAVORITE Oscar Makeup Looks, and some Tips on How to Achieve them yourself.
#3 Charlize Theron- In my eyes, Charlize can never do wrong!! She is gorgeous and so very classy. I loved her flawless and natural makeup look, with bold lips. What I love most about his look, is that I feel like it is a pretty simple look for you to be able to do at home.
Start off with a foundation and set it with powder, then follow with a rosy/reddish blush. Use a soft gold eyeshadow all over your eyelid and a little under your eyes. Then curl your eyelashes and apply 2 coats of black mascara to your top lashes. Complete your look with a pink red lipstick. Try using: MAC Russian Red Lipstick, and Covergirl Lash Blast Mascara
#2 Jennifer Lopez- Jennifer always looks amazing! I love that she has a natural look, yet made her eyes pop. Very elegant.
Start off with a natural foundation. Avoid powder to get that glowy JLo look. Use a brow powder or eyeshadow to define your eyebrows without them looking too painted on. Use a neutral color all over your eyes, and then follow with a grey/purple eyeshadow in your crease and under your eyes. Make sure to blend! Use a liquid eyeliner and black mascara on your top and bottom lashes. Use a neutral pink lipliner and fill in your lips with concealer. Then follow with a neutral lipgloss. Try using: Daniel Chinchilla Beauty Perfecting Mineral Fluid, Loreal HIP Color Truth Cream Eyeliner, and MAC C-Thru Lipglass.
#1 Queen Latifah- Ooooooh Yes!! My favorite makeup look of the night. Her foundation is smooth and flawless, and this is the perfect example of how to give yourself smokey eyes, without looking like a clown!! lol
Start by doing your eyes first. Smudge black eyeliner on your eyelid and under your eye, then blend a deep purple eyeshadow over it to soften it up. Also use the black eyeliner in your waterline for more definition. Follow with Black Mascara. Use a liquid foundation to give yourself a natural, flawless glow. Use a soft pink blush on the apples of your cheeks. Finish the look by lining your lips with a neutral pink lipliner, and follow with a pink/purple lipstick. Try using: Daniel Chinchilla Beauty Perfecting Mineral Fluid, MAC Smolder Eyeliner, and Nars Lulu eyeshadow
Hope I made it easier for you to achieve one of these looks for your next night out!

Apply eyeliner on the inner rim of your eyes, and finish the look off with nice sparse false eyelashes.
Try: Nars eyeshadow in Night Rider, #7 Mac eyelashes, and Daniel Chinchilla Beauty Perfecting Mineral Fluid in N7 Beverly
To achieve Heidi Klum’s look, apply a neutral shimmery eyeshadow on your eyelids, and then an orangey bronze color under your eyes and into your crease. How to Achieve Flawless Makeup Looks from the Golden Globe Awards
January 18, 2010
From Halle Berry to Christina Aguilera and Nicole Kidman, these women had one thing in common: They had Flawless Red Carpet Makeup!! Here are a couple of the Top Makeup Trends at the Golden Globes, and how to achieve them!! Try it out and remember, makeup is not permanent, so experiment and have fun with it!!
Natural, Glowy, Flawless Skin- Flawless Skin is always in! Achieve this by using a Liquid or Cream Foundation. Liquid Foundation will usually give you a more natural finish dewy finish, while Cream Foundation will allow for a fuller coverage. After applying your foundation of choice, use a translucent powder to set the foundation and take away excess shine. Make sure you don’t use a heavy powder as it will probably make your foundation look cakey.
I recommend :
Liquid Foundation: Daniel Chinchilla Beauty Perfecting Mineral Fluid…Cream Foundation: Bobbi Brown Stick Foundation…Translucent Powder: Makeup Forever HD Powder
Sexy Defined Eyes- A big trend at the Golden Globes was Sexy Defined Eyes. They were made up, without being over-done. You can achieve this smokin look with Neutral Shimmery Eyeshadows, a good Pencil Eyeliner, and a Thickening Mascara. Use a shimmery Brown eyeshadow all over your eyelid, and blend into the crease. Then, apply eyeliner to the top and bottom of your eyes, then smudge to give it a soft smokey effect. Go over the eyeliner with a darker shimmery eyeshadow to blend out the eyeliner even more. Finish your eyes off with a couple coats of Black mascara.
I recommend:
Eyeshadows: Nars Eyeshadow Duo in Isolde…Eyeliner: Loreal Hip Color Chrome Eyeliner… Mascara: Mac Zoom Lash
Pinky/Peachy Blush- Blush is a must!! Always!! It brightens up your face, and puts color back onto your face after you have evened it up with your foundation. To apply your blush and naturally contour your cheeks, start at the apples of your cheeks and blend in an upward motion toward the top of your ears. A blush with a soft shimmer will further help you achieve glowy skin.
I recommend:
Blush: Nars Blush in Orgasm or Laura Mercier Bronzing Duo in Coral Bronze
